OUR STORY

Dr. Decibel is an independent acoustic consultancy and laboratory based in Hackney Wick, East London, right where you need us.

We carry out pre-completion sound insulation tests (PCT), noise surveys and noise/vibration monitoring. We provide advice on acoustic design, building acoustics, and interior acoustics.

We use state-of-the-art UKAS calibrated equipment from brands like NTi, Brüel & Kjær, 01dB. We are one of the few consultancies in UK owning revolutionary acoustic camera P132 from Seven Bel.

With over 15 years of industry experience, our principal engineer holds an MSc. degree in acoustics, a valid CSCS card, and active membership in the Institute of Acoustics.

We are proud members of the SITMA certification scheme for sound insulation testing, and we use state-of-the-art Class 1 equipment with valid UKAS calibration.
